The Zimbabwe FETP participated in a review of the program’s MPH FETP curriculum from 1 – 5 July 2019. The team reviewed the MPH FETP regulations and curriculum alongside two University of Washington exchange students, the chairperson of the University of Zimbabwe, Department of Community Medicine and a senior member of the academic staff. The draft regulations and curriculum will undergo further review within the university structures until the final revised curriculum is obtained.
The curriculum has been in use since 1993 at Zimbabwe FETP’s inception under the Public Health Schools Without Walls (PHSWoW) strategy. The review is meant to update the curriculum in view of the changes on the global health scene over the years.
