Residents and alumni of the Ghana Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Program (GFELTP) supported national efforts of Round Zero and Round One of the Polio Vaccination Campaign which took place from 3 August – 16 September 2019 and 22 – 29 September 2019 respectively. The campaign was in response to a circulating vaccine-derived polio outbreak in the Northern and Greater Accra Regions. The residents and alumni served as supervisors in both rounds of the vaccination campaign. The participants were responsible for collecting data on the number of children vaccinated using the OPEN DATA KIT (ODK) Software.
