Hon. Robinah Nabbanja - Hon. State Minister for Health - General Duties, Uganda led a team of key dignitaries and partners including the US CDC, WHO, and AFENET in celebrating 10 graduates of the Cohort 2018, Uganda Public Health Fellowship Program. The event was held on 31 January 2020 in Kampala Uganda. Graduates were awarded and commended for their support to disease outbreaks and interventions. The team responded to over 40 outbreaks in since joining the program in 2018.
The graduates are the 4th Cohort of the Uganda Public Health Fellowship Program, Field Epidemiology Track - Cohort 2018. The program is a partnership between the Ministry of Health, Uganda, Makerere University School of Public Health and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (US CDC).
