Prof Ernest Kenu ascends to highest academic faculty rank at the University of Ghana

Dr Ernest Kenu has been promoted from Associate Professor to Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Ghana School of Public Health. This achievement stands as a testament to his unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership, and invaluable contributions to the field.

At the University of Ghana and generally in the Commonwealth, academic faculty raking at university level starts from Assistant Lecturer through Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor to Professor.

Prof. Kenu, who currently serves as the Program Director of the Ghana Field Epidemiology Network and previously chaired the Board of Directors of the African Field Epidemiology Network (AFENET), has long been recognized for his groundbreaking work in public health education and capacity-building.
