Ministry of Health, CDC Country Director, and Partners Visit EVD Hotspot

A high-level delegation led by the Ministry of Health, together with the CDC Country Director and key partners, visited the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) hotspot to assess the situation on the ground and strengthen coordination of the response efforts.

AFENET played a vital supporting role, providing logistical assistance to ensure the success of the visit. Some ACoDD members were also present, contributing their expertise and helping to facilitate engagement with local teams.

While the Ministry of Health, CDC, and partners were the main actors driving the discussions and decision-making, the visit reflected a strong spirit of collaboration among all stakeholders working toward the common goal of containing the outbreak and protecting public health.
