Dr. David Mukanga
Dr. David Mukanga is the Deputy Director of Africa Regulatory Systems at Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Dr. Mukanga has over 20 years of experience creating and running global health programs that address regulatory and health systems strengthening, and public health workforce development in Africa.
He has a solid understanding of donor ecosystems, regulations and compliance including the USG, EU, and the Gates Foundation, as well as working with the health sector and governments in Africa to achieve desired outcomes. Prior to joining the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation served as CEO of a pan African organisation for 7 years.
