Dr. Chris Tetteh
Dr. Christopher N. Tetteh is a Public Health Physician Specialist and presently the Physician Executive/Founder of Optimal Health and Wellness Center, a Preventive Healthcare company in Accra. Ghana.
He is the former Chief Examiner of the Faculty of Public Health at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons (GCPS). He is the former training coordinator for specialist public health training in the Faculty of Public Health of GCPS. He is the former Resident Advisor for the Kenya and South Africa Field Epidemiology Training Programs (FETPs) and former Inaugural Dean of Ensign College of Public Health in Kpong, Ghana. Dr. Tetteh was an Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia, USA from 1996 to 1998. Dr. Tetteh worked in Ethiopia, Pakistan, and Tanzania as a World Health Organization (WHO) disease surveillance consultant for measles and poliomyelitis.
Dr. Tetteh holds an MB ChB degree from the School of Medical Sciences of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana, and an MSc degree in Community Health from Heidelberg University in Germany. He is a foundation fellow of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons.
