Prof. Mufuta Tshimanga

Prof. Mufuta Tshimanga is a professor of public health medicine and has been the director of the Zimbabwe Field Epidemiology Training Program (a joint program of the Ministry of Health and the University of Zimbabwe) since 1997. He has developed expertise in FETP implementation and intervention study designs and has published more than 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals. He is a founding member of both TEPHINET and the African Field Epidemiology Network (AFENET), serving as the chairman of the AFENET Board of Directors.
