Mr Waweru is a highly accomplished Senior Epidemiologist with extensive experience in infectious disease surveillance, epidemiology, and emergency preparedness and response. Currently serving at the Ministry of Health, and Director of the Kenya Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Program, Mr. Waweru holds a Master of Science degree and is certified in Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) and Advanced Veterinary One Health Capacity Building for Surveillance (AVoHC-SURGE).
With expertise in infectious disease control and prevention, Mr. Waweru has successfully responded to multiple epidemics in Kenya and beyond. His skills and strengths lie in:
